Short description: Subject Aquaculture refers to the subject of aquaculture in the world and in Poland.
Full description: Importance of aquaculture in Poland and elsewhere. Main species of aquaculture animals. Husbandry and breeding in aquaculture – fish, crayfishes, crabs, shrimps, catfish and selected mariculture animals.

Learning outcomes: After course completion In area of knowledge: 1. Student has an extended knowledge of the biology of organisms aquaculture. 2. Student has an advanced knowledge of the environment formation through the development of aquaculture. 3. Student has an extended knowledge of the protection of biodiversity of animals. In area of skills: 1. Student has the ability to accurately communicate with the various stakeholders in the form of verbal, written and graphical. 2. Student understands and apply the appropriate technologies. 3. Student has a profound ability to prepare oral presentations about aquaculture in Polish language. In area of social competences: 1. Student is aware of the need for training.
